personally the bonus mission pack is the last $10 i'm going to give to Anet, can't stand GW2 since its to wow like, i'm going to stick with GW1 and the regrowing community there, having a FB group helps finding lots of active players

OP: Their customer service is utter shit. I mean, if I'm asking for help to buy something or gems, they answer me pretty much within 24 hours, if it's anything else thought, they don't. But as a big company, they have departments. Anything involving accounts must be super overloaded or they just don't wanna answer all the GW1 players.

^The only thing is is GW has no support atm and the bmp is not that big of deal.I would play GW more but I want it to have support again.

and as for the cs departments...there is one side for gw2 and another for gw (the janitor and his friend), easy questions are pushed to the front (ones that involve them getting more money from you) while most others are put into a cue--which they go thru at a snails pace. and yes, this is horrendous customer service in any book! (I even got better treatment from united airlines and they are some of the worse cs people in the world and yes, I used to work in cs, this is unacceptable!)

You say you don't have facebook which is understandable, but it is a shame because I think you in particular would really, really enjoy that facebook group. Because the people there seem to enjoy the game in a much deeper way, if that makes sense? The same way I feel that you do. Everyone's also very friendly, well for the most part anyway, haha

Agreed, while Facebook has its downsides (as most internet related things do), I've connected with a LOT of still-active Guild Wars fans in a way that the Guru just can't match (at least not any more).

I happened to find the group by doing a search for Guild Wars in Facebook, and then someone posted a link for the Guild Wars: A New Hope page and I joined. I think I was member #299, and now in less than a month from the time I joined, there are now over 600 members and growing!

Anet hasn't made a posting FB since 2014 for some reason they still annouce events tho.
